Infection Prevention Control Ireland is a unified and professional group providing assistance and advice to empower those delivering care in all healthcare settings. IPCI members engage with healthcare service users and providers at national local and international levels to deliver care based on evidence and best practice.

Membership is open to individuals working within the healthcare setting with a particular interest in promoting infection prevention and control.

Applications for IPCI Membership

Commercial company representative membership are not eligible to apply at this time (2025)  with IPCI, this is being reviewed.

Full IPCI membership is for an infection prevention control nurse/CNM/ADON/DON actively working as an IPC registered nurse specialist. When the application form is  submitted to IPCI, the application will be verified , this may take up to 7 working days.
