      Yes Emer, I we don’t call them macerates anymore. They are Pul Disposal Units(PDU). I trialled them when I was in Beaumont and it was rolled out throughout the hospital on a phased approach. They are brilliant from IPC perspective as well as saving time for the nurses and HCAs.
